MIX tutorials

All tutorials are Flash-based html-files (pages you can see with your web browser). If you do not have a Flash plug-in installed in your web browser you will be prompted to download it automatically. It is safe to click OK and download the plug-in so please do so, follow the instructions, and you'll be up and running.

The theory tours

The theory tours provide an introduction to systematic review and meta-analysis methods. If you're relatively new to meta-analysis, please take a look at them before you start using MIX. The theory tours are in PDF format so make sure you have a PDF reader installed (ADOBE reader is available for free).

The program tours

The program tours takes you through the basics of using the MIX program. Although most functions of MIX are relatively easy to learn while using it, some are a bit more tricky. The program tours provide you with some practical examples. The program tours come in two formats: animated Flash that can be viewed in your standard browser and PDF. The first is cooler (stuff is moving) and the latter is easier if you want to download stuff and take a look even when you're offline. We are currently updating the tours
