Dear user, Thank you for using the MIX program, version MIX 1.2. This update contains a substantial mount of new features and also a number of fixes. If this is the first time you are using the program, please read the Quick Start Guide carefully. Major points of improvement in version 1.2 are: * Export functionality received major make-over * Short and detailed report functions * New look of funnel plots * You can now change the event coding in data sets with dichotomous input * Zero-cell continuity correction can be altered manually and includes the option of using "1/opposite arm N" * You can now copy current output as a picture file to the clipboard * The publication bias output now also includes the original summary analysis output as a reference for the trim-and-fill output * The input summary output includes a graphical display of the weights and weights are given in percentage * Check for updates via the help menu * Register for the mailing list via the help menu The following bugs were fixed in version 1.2: * Export bugs * Trim-and-fill method output bug * Model dropdown box bug in toolbar (only with comparative data sets) * Data set wizard bug when making comparative data sets (now RR and OR labels are corrected to ln(RR) and ln(OR)) As I am developing this program primarily by myself, I am taking things step by step. The program should run smoothly, but there are still a couple of issues and disabled features that need to be dealt with. The Theory Tour and Program Tour are to be expanded and a complete manual is in the making. Check the MIX website (http://www.mix-for-meta-analysis.info) for more news or subscribe to the mailinglist (via website or from within the program). Good luck, Leon Bax
